nubia NAVIX Ultra gets its first preview — Doubao calls it the world's first AI-native phone

TL;DR

nubia previewed NAVIX Ultra's finishes and orange AI button; it is a SAIL Top 30 finalist, not a winner yet.

nubia has shown its first AI-native phone, NAVIX Ultra, but it remained a preview as of July 16. A nubia Weibo post displayed black, silver, blue, and white bodies with a prominent orange side AI button. The company disclosed no price, processor chip specifications, sale date, or markets.

ByteDance's Doubao team called NAVIX Ultra the 'world's first AI-native smartphone.' The Tech Outlook and IT Home reported that the phone centers on a dedicated AI entry point. Published images confirm the orange button and visible finishes, but not its complete functions or hardware configuration.

NAVIX Ultra entered the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference SAIL Award Top 30. The list published by 36Kr identifies the project as a finalist, not the final award winner. Shanghai government information says WAIC 2026 runs from July 17 to 20 and will display more than 3,000 exhibits.

As of July 16, NAVIX Ultra is a SAIL Top 30 finalist and has not been announced as the final SAIL Award winner.
