A Shenzhen fan unlocks by the day — CCTV gives a 365-day path to ownership

TL;DR

An unnamed Shenzhen maker offers a PayGo fan unlocked by day; CCTV's example transfers ownership after 365 days.

An unnamed Shenzhen manufacturer is selling an electric fan through PayGo: buyers make a deposit, then purchase access codes for a set number of days. CCTV News showed an example on July 16 in which ownership transfers to the buyer after 365 days of paid use.

The reports describe only the code mechanism shown by CCTV. They do not name the company, brand, price, deposit ratio, daily rate or destination markets. They also do not say whether codes are checked by an onboard chip or through a network server, nor what happens after a missed payment or under refund and repair terms.

The PayGo product appeared in a report on an electronics factory in Shenzhen's Bao'an district. ECNS said the factory ships up to 20,000 fans a day this summer and loads more than 10 containers daily. Those figures cover the broader fan production line and are not unit sales for the PayGo model alone. A separate 21财经 report profiles named Shenzhen fan exporter JisuLife; available reporting does not establish it as CCTV's PayGo manufacturer.

CCTV said installment access fits payment habits in some overseas markets and increased sales, but supplied no increase, revenue or delinquency rate. Shenzhen Customs' smart vehicle screening and direct loading apply to peak-season exports; they are not part of the PayGo contract.
