Realme Moves Into OPPO Binhaiwan HQ | R&D Folded Into Group Center, Shared Supply Chain, No More Standalone Full-Stack

TL;DR

Realme staff have moved into OPPO's Binhaiwan HQ alongside OnePlus, with R&D folded into OPPO's central research org and shared supply chain.

OPPO's sub-brand realignment moved to concrete execution. Realme staff have relocated in waves to OPPO's Binhaiwan HQ in Dongguan, sharing the campus with OnePlus staff who arrived earlier. Admin, HR, and finance now run through the OPPO group shared services layer.

R&D is being dismantled and reassembled. Realme's imaging, hardware, and baseband R&D teams have been folded into OPPO's central R&D; OnePlus's R&D likewise plugged into the group's unified tech resource pool. The two brands share imaging algorithms, hardware designs, and low-level tuning. Product planning stays separate, but neither brand still owns a standalone full-stack R&D chain. Supply chain also consolidated: OnePlus and realme now run through OPPO group procurement — factory relationships, bulk pricing, unified QC.

This is the execution wave following April's reintegration announcement. Brand positioning was locked in mid-July: OnePlus exits North America and Europe to focus on China and India, ColorOS replaces OxygenOS; realme halts China updates and pivots to Europe and Southeast Asia. The BBK system has moved from three globally-independent brands to a single group shared platform.
