Fold8 switches form factor: cover display shrinks to 5.5" at a 10:16 wide ratio (closer to a normal candy-bar phone), main display 7.6" 4:3. Samsung positions it as 'lighter, more content-friendly.' Flip8 is the series' lightest at 180g, 6.1mm unfolded; the FlexWindow adds Now Brief, and the camera picks up Camcorder Grip, Super Steady horizontal lock, and dual creator+subject recording.
Prices were raised across the line. Samsung attributed the hike to surging memory chip costs — matching the past two days' other headline: OPPO and vivo rejected Samsung's Q3 2026 memory pricing.
