Privacy Policy
This site is statically generated. No accounts, no profiles, no personal data collection.
1. What we don't collect
- No registration, no accounts, no comment forms
- The site operator does not set identifying cookies; localStorage holds only a single language-preference value (purely client-side, never transmitted)
- No ad SDKs, no social-media pixels, no ad networks
- We do not ask for or accept any personal-data uploads from readers
The third-party analytics services listed in §2 below may set their own cookies. Those are out of scope for the "we don't set cookies" statement above.
2. What infrastructure sees
The following data is handled automatically by infrastructure and third-party analytics during connection. The operator does not actively read raw logs:
- Vercel CDN (host): standard HTTP access logs — visitor IP, User-Agent, Referrer, request path, response status — for DDoS protection, performance, and edge caching. Retention per Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel Analytics: this site uses Vercel's first-party anonymous analytics (no cookies; unique-visit dedup via a 24-hour hashed IP that does not store the raw IP). See Vercel Analytics privacy details.
- Microsoft Clarity: this site uses Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps, session recordings, and UX analytics. Clarity sets cookies in your browser and may record mouse movements, clicks, scroll behavior, and anonymised page screenshots (keystroke content is not collected). Data is processed by Microsoft in anonymised form; the site operator only sees aggregated reports. See clarity.microsoft.com and Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
To opt out of Clarity recording: enable DNT (Do Not Track) in your browser, use private / incognito mode, install a content blocker (uBlock Origin blocks clarity.ms by default), or enable a global cookie blocker.
3. localStorage usage
One key only: yn-lang, whose value is "zh" or "en" — your last-chosen language. Written and read entirely client-side, never uploaded to any server. To clear it, clear this site's localStorage in your browser settings.
4. External links
Source links (via at the end of articles), the Telegram channel link, and the GitHub profile link all take you off the site. Once you leave, your privacy is governed by the target site's policy; we are no longer involved.
5. Third-party resources
Static assets (the site itself, CSS, fonts) all ship from Vercel CDN. We do not fetch from Google Fonts, third-party CDNs, or third-party image hosts at runtime. OG images and brand icons are bundled into the site at build time.
6. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at minors. If you are a minor's guardian and discover that the minor has inadvertently left information on this site (e.g. via an outbound link), please notify us via takedown contact and we will cooperate to address it.
7. Policy changes
This policy may be updated; the latest version is always on this page. Material changes will be announced on the homepage or via @Yaaa_News.
8. Contact
Privacy questions: email via takedown contact with subject prefix [Privacy].
